Call her the Duchess of Fashion Recycling! Kate Middleton recycled not one but two looks over the weekend, first at a friend’s wedding on Saturday and later at Prince Philip’s birthday celebration on Sunday.

Kate wore a chic black and white silk cocktail dress to the wedding of close friend Sam Waley-Cohen (the man credited with bringing Kate and Prince William back together after their brief split) on Saturday, June 11. However, Kate-fanatics may recognize the dress as the same one that she wore on a night out with sister Pippa Middleton back in 2007. This time around, Kate ditched the unfashionable wide black belt and frumpy shrug in favor of a sleek thin black belt and hat.

On Sunday, Kate made a bold fashion statement when she attended Prince Philip’s in a light blue jacquard coat with matching hat. However, once again, Kate fans may have seen this jacket before from when Kate wore it to a friend’s wedding in 2009. Kate updated the statement jacket on Sunday by pairing it with nude LK Bennett heels and a dark blue dress.

This isn’t the first time that Kate has been caught wearing the same thing twice – Kate wore her favorite Whistles silk blouse for her official engagement portrait with William and she is often photographed wearing a cropped brown jacket from Reiss.
